നേരം മങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍
അയാളുടെ പാട്ട്
മലകളെ ചുറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നതു കേള്‍ക്കാം
എന്തര്‍ത്ഥമിരിക്കുന്നു അതില്‍
എന്നു ചോദിക്കരുത്
അര്‍ത്ഥമോ അര്‍ത്ഥമില്ലായ്മയോ
അതൊക്കെയല്ലേയുള്ളൂ?
നമുക്കയാളുടെ പാട്ടുകേട്ടുകൊണ്ട്
ഈ മരത്തണലിലിരിക്കാം
എത്ര മനോഹരമാണ്
ഈ ലോകവും പ്രകൃതിയും, അല്ലേ?
ഈ മരത്തിലെത്ര ഇലകളുണ്ടെന്നറിയാമോ?
അതുപോലെ എന്തോ ഒന്ന് ആ പാട്ടിലുമുണ്ട്.
