തികച്ചും അസാധാരണനായിരുന്നു അവന്‍.
ഇന്നലെ ഇവിടെ വന്നു.
കണ്ടപാടെ പുണര്‍ന്നു
ചുണ്ടില്‍ സ്പര്‍ശിച്ചു.
മുടിയില്‍ വിരലാഴ്ത്തി
ആ മെലിഞ്ഞ,വൃത്തിയുള്ള കാലുകളില്‍
ഇരുത്തി
എന്നെ ഊഞ്ഞാലാട്ടാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി.
ആട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടേയിരുന്നു.
എത്ര നേരത്തോളം!
എത്ര നേരത്തോളമെന്നൊന്നും
ഞാന്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.
ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതേയില്ല.
ഞാന്‍ നോക്കിയത്
ആ പാത്രത്തിലേയ്ക്കായിരുന്നു,
അതിലെ സ്ഫടികജലത്തിലേയ്ക്കായിരുന്നു.
അതില്‍
അതാ ആ ലോക്കറ്റ്!
ഒരിക്കല്‍ കാണാതെപോയത്.

അത് തിളങ്ങി.
ഞാന്‍ ചിരിച്ചു.

I didnt notice..
I ddnt notice at all.
I was looking into that tumbler near
Into that crystal clear water in it
To the beneath of it..
There saw the pendant
Which i had lost a year back.
It shone.
I smiled.
